BOATS
Life afloat
Many ways of staying dry have been found, in the attempt to cross water safely. The following are some of the ancient ways, ranging from a one-man coracle to seagoing vessels capable of carrying large loads of cargo.
| Coracles are the smallest and lightest boats that were used. They can be carried by one person and are sturdy enough to be used in fast flowing rivers. | ![]() |
