Villa

This construction is based on the western wing of an excavated villa from
Sparsholt near Winchester.
At the northern end of the building, there is a working
hypocaust (under-floor heating)

The excavation was done by David E. Johnston, between 1965 and 1972.
It was part of a villa complex, possibly owned by a decurion (a member of the city council)
